FAST Resources
FAST, formerly known as e*GRandS, is the State of Tennessee’s financial aid system. FAST is your and your students’ one-stop-shop for applying and monitoring eligibility for Tennessee financial aid.
Counselors
High school counselors and administrators can access FAST to monitor students’ eligibility for financial aid, verify graduating seniors’ GPAs for Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship eligibility, and access helpful financial aid reports. To request a high school user account, complete the High School User Request and return it to Sara Sparks, [email protected].
Students
High school students can access FAST through the TSAC Student Portal. In order to access the system, students must first create a TSAC Student Portal account. After creating an account, students can submit applications for Tennessee financial aid, like the Tennessee Promise, and monitor their eligibility to receive state funding for college.

You will be redirected to the TSAC Student Portal. Applying for a scholarship (example: the Tennessee Promise) is not complete once a student portal account has been created. Next, you must re-enter your Username and Password and answer the challenge question. Once you have accepted the “User Agreement”, click the “Apply for Scholarships” button and then click the appropriate scholarship program to complete and submit the online application.
