Advise TN is Tennessee’s only state-operated, state-funded college access program, developed by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) and former Governor Bill Haslam. It aims to increase college enrollment by partnering with high schools to provide college advising to up to 4,000 juniors and seniors annually. Advisors help students choose postsecondary options that will best support their success, including four-year universities, community colleges, Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology, or other quality programs.
