College Access Professionals Training
CAP Training offers professional development courses, designed by experts in the field, on the topics counselors and college access professionals want and need most.
CAP Training courses are designed for:
» School Counselors
» College Access Professionals
» Teachers and Administrators
» School districts, agencies, colleges and universities
For years, school counselors and college access professionals have told us they would like to receive professional training using high quality instructors and materials. The Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) has purchased and adapted a curriculum to train school counselors and other college access professionals:
CAP Training for College Access Professionals.
Through the generous sponsorship of GEAR UP TN, you and your colleagues will be able to receive FREE, professional college and career advisor training with a Tennessee emphasis.
Participants will receive professional development points (PDPs) to use toward renewal of teacher certification, if needed.
