Applying for Admission
Applications for graduate study at Belmont University are considered on a rolling basis; applicants should submit all materials as early as possible prior to the term for which you are applying.
Applications for admission to Belmont are for a particular term of enrollment.
Requirements may change from one term to another.
Acceptance for one term does not necessarily indicate that admission will be granted for any other term.
Admission to Belmont University is competitive.

To apply for admission:
- Complete this online application thoroughly.
- Submit the application agreement statement that appears after you submit the online application and any supporting materials along with the $50 application fee to the Office of Admissions. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Belmont University.
- Request that official transcripts be sent from the school directly to Belmont University Office of Admissions. For a transcript to be official it must be sent directly from the school to Belmont in an official school envelope and may not be marked "issued to student."
- Please refer to the Graduate Degree Programs for additional requirements such as official test scores, recommendations, resumes, etc.
- All applicants (except MSOT, OTD and DPT) must return a completed copy of the
Graduate Programs Student Recommendation Form. MSOT, OTD and DPT applicants wll find supplemental materials and recommendation forms at the following links:

Admission Consideration
Belmont University's graduate programs are open to applicants without regard to race, sex, national origin, or religious preference.
Admission to the graduate programs is based on qualifications and space availability.
The university seeks student diversity that enriches the academic community.
International students applying to Belmont University graduate programs may contact the Office of International Education for information regarding TOEFL testing, student visa information, health insurance, housing, work permission, and social activities sponsored by the International Student Association.
Readmission
Students applying for readmission to Belmont are considered on the same basis as new applicants to the university for that particular term.
If a student has attended any other college or university since the last term of enrollment at Belmont, official transcripts must be sent.
Applicants for readmission should contact the academic department of the program to which you are applying to determine what particular requirements may be needed.
Readmission cannot be considered if the student has any unsettled business with Belmont University or any other institution attended whether in the form of a financial, disciplinary or academic obligation.
Once these issues have been resolved and the academic department has been notified of the resolution in writing, the application will be considered.
The university reserves the right to refuse readmission to a student on any grounds deemed sufficient by the Belmont University administration.

How to Use the Belmont University Graduate Online Application
|
To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from
the popup lists (where applicable).
After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left
column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current
screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct
your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to
skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function
on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.
Once you have completed the application, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the
application.
